It has been estimated that by the time a child is 18 years old, the mother has spent:
11 days reading or telling stories 38 days shopping for groceries 52 days playing kids games 66 days playing chauffeur 142 days giving baths and fixing boo-boos 216 days cooking the kitchen
She has changed her child's diaper at least 7,300 times. She does about 330 loads of laundry every year. She gives undivided attention to her preschooler at least once every 4 minutes.
And that is just one kid. No wonder we are tired.
Have a wonderful Mother's Day. May it be filled will sticky, ooey-gooey kisses. Unless your kids are teenagers. That would just be gross.
