Getting up early to do a workout is no fun. I tend to get in bed way too late at night, so dragging myself out of the warm, soft covers when all I really want to do is sleep takes some motivation.
So what motivates me?
There are a number of things that motivate me. Seeing the beginnings of muscle definition that didn't used to exist motivates me. The increase in my strength and stamina motivates me. The knowledge that I am in my 40's and that I don't want to spend my latter years old and decrepit motivates me.
And the sheer beauty of my morning run motivates me.
