Petit Vour Subscription Box Review April 2016

34

I have a new obsession.  I am falling head-over-my-pampered-heals in love with subscription boxes.  You pay a fee in exchange for a monthly or quarterly box of curated goodies.  The fee is usually lower, sometimes much lower, than the value of the products you receive.  It's like a Birthday in your mailbox every.single.month.  *Squeal*  Ahem.  I meant to say -- It's tough work testing products, (cough) but I do it all for you.  You should feel sorry for how hard I'm working to rip open the box!

There is a subscription box out there for practically everything.  My current subscription box obsession swirls around greener living and greener beauty.  I know that shocks you.  Try to recover quickly, though, because I want to tell you about Petit Vour.

Petit Vour offers a monthly curated box of 100% Vegan, cruelty-free beauty products for only $15 each month.  Usually there are about 4 products your box.  Some of them are trial size, but usually at least one of them is a full size product.  If you love your products and want to buy more, you receive a 20% discount on the full-sized versions at the Petit Vour store.

When you open your surprise, you'll see a happy little card.  This particular card said exactly what I was thinking.  On the flip side of the card, you'll find a description of everything in your box, how to use it, the value of your products and the price for the full-sized version.

Try not to act like a 5-year-old at Christmas when you dig for your prizes, m'kay? Or, better yet, smuggle your loot into a room with a locking door so your can cackle over your goodies in peace.

This was my first Petit Vour box and I couldn't be more pleased.  I loved everything in the box.

I received a trial size of Ursa Major Fortifying Face Balm.  This is a serum-like anti-aging facial moisturizer.  I can't wait to try it out, because, let's face it (get it? Face it?  Bwahaha!!), I could use a little anti-aging help. Besides, it's Ursa Major, so I'm hanging out with the stars.  ($9.50)

Next up, was the trial size of Juara Hand & Nail Balm.  This stuff is heavenly.  My hands started clapping with relief the minute I smeared this stuff on.  It's been a couple hours now, and they still feel soft and smooth.  I usually have to reapply lotion every fifteen minutes. This is a win! ($2.50)

I received a trial size bottle of Kumari River Bath & Body Oil.  Oooh!  Can't wait to try this out.  It is made with Chamomile and Olive Oils and has a fresh, light scent. It can be used as an after bath body oil to seal in moisture or you can add a few drops to a soothing bath.  Relaxation!!  ($8.50)

Finally, there was a FULL size Ecco Bella Good for You Lip Gloss.  This is rich, luxurious, and preserved with natural ingredients.  Have you ever looked at the ingredients on your lipstick?  Yeah.  I always wonder what the long term effects will be of using that on my lips everyday.  Needless to say, I am always looking for more natural alternatives.  Ecco Bella is another win! ($20.00)

I had so much fun with this month's subscription box, and I felt so indulgent.  Yet it was only the cost of a few lattes AND it was calorie-free.  The total stated value of the items in this month's box was $40.50.  That's not bad for a $15 investment. Yay, me!

If you're jealous and want your own box, you can get yours at Petit Vour for $15 per month.

Have a great day!

Angela
