Running in Snow?

The weather forecasters predicted it would snow during the night.  So according to their forecast, I would wake up for my morning run to a winter wonderland.  Instead, this is what I found:

But wait!  If you look very closely there is real live snow.  It's in the ditch.  Here, I'll help you spot it:

If I gather it all together, maybe I'll be able to make a snowman -- a two-inch tall snowman.

Ahh...life in the Sub-North.

  (That's the south, if you need a translation.)
