The Schoolhouse Review Crew

I have some exciting news for you (and for me).  (Drum Roll...)  I have become a member of the Schoolhouse Review Crew for The Old Schoolhouse Magazine!!!  Let me pause for a minute to wait for the applause to die down and give you a chance to collect yourself....

What is the Schoolhouse Review Crew, you ask?  We are people just like you who get to test drive homeschool and home products and tell you what we think.  Think of it as a "try before you buy", only we try before you buy.  We run the curriculum or products through their paces in an actual home/homeschool setting with real kids, then we tell you the good, the bad and the ugly.  That way, you get to make an informed decision before you part with your hard earned cash.

What the Schoolhouse Review Crew is NOT:  It is not something I am being paid to do.  You don't have to wonder if I got oodles of cash to give a rave review about something.  Those of you who know me in real life know that I wouldn't tell you something I didn't believe to be true.  It is my pledge to you, dear reader, to give you an honest opinion about the products I test.  I also pledge to give you as much of an inside view as possible, so that you can "see" the product for yourself.

So, will the blog change?  Nope.  Nada.  Not a bit.  I was already occasionally giving you reviews about products I have tried, so you are already all comfortable and used to me.  We are just making things a bit more formal.  If anything, my relationship with the other bloggers on the Crew will only serve to make me a better blogger.  So you win either way.

You will always know when I am doing a review for the Crew, because I will flash a fancy little sign at the bottom of the review that tells you all about it.  Cool, huh?

Okay.  You can resume your applause now.

Have a great day!
